About Us
Adina Abramowitz, Principal

Adina founded Consulting for Change in January 2006 with expertise in strategic and operational planning, market analysis and product development, organizational assessment, leadership development, nonprofit mergers, and organizational change in nonprofit organizations. 

Consulting for Change’s clients are nonprofit organizations that strive to combine the best of the nonprofit drive to pursue a mission and for profit resolve to operate profitably and efficiently.

Adina worked for over twenty years in the Community Development Finance (CDFI) industry, first as an executive director at CBAC in Camden, NJ, and then at the premier national membership organization for CDFIs, Opportunity Finance Network.  For most of her tenure at Opportunity Finance, Adina was responsible for the organization’s strategy to develop CDFI capacity. She developed a consulting practice and provided consulting to dozens of CDFIs including: strategic planning, risk management, program design and implementation, and growth management. 

Adina is a practical, results oriented consultant who will help your organization pursue its values while becoming more sustainable.

Phebe Quattrucci, Associate

Phebe is the principal of Quattrucci & Company, a consulting practice that specializes in developing and implementing comprehensive, multi-faceted capitalization strategies for CDFIs and other mission-based organizations. Quattrucci & Company also provides strategic and operational planning, board development, and marketing services to its clients. Phebe is a successful grantwriter and is nationally recognized for her work with Native American CDFIs. Phebe began her career in banking and has eighteen years' experience working with and for Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and mission-based organizations throughout the country.
Laura Schwingel, Associate

Laura has more than seventeen years of experience working with an array of nonprofit, community-based organizations. She has run her own consulting business since 2004, which specializes in grantwriting, program, annual and strategic planning, as well as policy and advocacy for community development organizations and associations. Prior to starting her own practice Laura worked with the Opportunity Finance Network for eight years, including stints as Director of Policy and the Director of the CDFI Coalition, positions which entailed coordination of the national policy and advocacy efforts of diverse member organizations located across the country. She currently serves on the Board of the Green Woods Charter School.
